“I really love that guitar,” country newcomer Austin Webb says. “It never talks back, it never pisses me off, it never gets mad.”
Ladies on the other hand? Not so much. In his single “All Country On You” Webb preaches about the dangers of lying to women. He sings about past women “going Carrie Underwood” on his truck and flipping him the bird after mistakes he made. In the end however, the South Carolina native admits that it’s usually the males that bring it upon themselves.
Don’t tick her off, break her heart, tell her lies
Don’t feed her any lipstick alibis
Ain’t nothing she can’t see through
No telling what she might do
Maybe get half-drunk, half-wild and wanna fight
Keep yelling at you, cussing at you all night
Hell-bent on tearing you something new
When she goes all country on you
While the song leans towards being “bro-country” it’s super catchy. Check out the lyric video below.
